Driving Lessons in Greenwich - SE10

Our office is located a stone’s throw from the SE10 postcode boundary and so we are delighted to cover the whole of the Greenwich area including East & West Greenwich, Greenwich Peninsula and the Creek Road area in Deptford. Greenwich is without a doubt the most historical and vibrant area of London outside the City centre and there can be no finer London view than that from the General Wolfe statue in Greenwich Park (Primrose Hill eat your heart out!).

Best view in London bar none!

Generally speaking when driving in Greenwich the name of the game is traffic avoidance, however, as so many of the rat runs have now been closed off you have to accept traffic on the A206 and Blackwall Lane as a fact of life and be prepared for it, especially during the seemingly never-ending road-works.

The Greenwich Peninsula can be quiet at times (except when the Rolling Stones are playing the 02 arena) and is a useful introduction to moderately busy roundabouts and unusual road layouts! The area near the Greenwich Forum is home to narrow streets chock-a-block with old fashioned terraced houses and can also be quiet, although getting there and back, again, can be a different matter. The Millennium Dome, Greenwich

The nearest test centres to Greenwich are Hither Green (10-15 minute drive away, on a good day) or alternatively Belvedere (which is only a 20 minute drive from Greenwich centre unless there are problems at the Woolwich Ferry!)
