Driving lessons in Mottingham - SE9
The area of Mottingham mostly falls within the Eltham postcode SE9 but has the distinction of being within three London Boroughs!; the majority is within Greenwich but the Chislehurst end falls inside Bromley and a small part near Grove Park is actually in Lewisham. We cover the entire area as far as the north side of Chislehurst. 
The famous cricketer, Dr W.G. Grace lived in retirement for some years in Mottingham and a blue plaque marks his residence, ‘Fairmont’ in Mottingham Lane, where he died on 23 October 1915. He was buried in Beckenham Crematorium.
It is a good area for the learner driver with the quiet roads around Chapel Farm Road and off William Barefoot Lane plus the delights of ever so posh and “leafy country lanes” Chislehurst not far away plus the busy A20 dual carriageway.
The nearest test centre is the re-located Sidcup (now at Foots Cray) about a 10 minute drive away or otherwise Hither Green (15-20 minutes).
