Driving lessons in Lee - SE12

The post code area of SE12 encompasses Lee Green, Lee and Grove Park and adjoins Blackheath at the Tigers Head Cross Roads. The conservation area between Manor Lane and Burnt Ash Road is a sought after residential area as are the roads bordering the Old Colfeians Sports Ground. Not only is the area home to Colfe’s School but also the delightful Manor House Gardens and a large Sainsburys! For more information see Wikipedia.

Lee GreenWe cover the entire post code area and will even stray across the Bromley border as far as the Sundridge Park roundabout for the right pupil!

It is a good (therefore popular with learners) area to learn to drive with a variety of roads from the relatively quiet residential areas above to the ever busy South Circular and Lee High Road, “challenging” roundabouts such as Clifton’s and the “near impossible to do safely” right turn from Eltham Road to Lee Road at the Tiger’s Head (Lewisham Council please note)!

The nearest test centre is of course Hither Green which is no more than a mile away and many of the Hither Green test routes pass through Lee. A tiny minority of local residents are not so tolerant to learner drivers however and have been known to move their cars off their driveways and park on the road just to prevent learners from practising a manoeuvre outside their house!
