It is my policy not to take or publish photographs or details of pupils on my website for privacy protection purposes, however like most good driving instructors, I have received many glowing testimonials from pupils or their parents which are always nice to have and which I prefer to regard as personal.
No Fault Passes:
Some Instructors go through their entire professional life without ever managing to get a pupil through their test with No Faults (zero defect passes). I am proud to say that in the past 5 years 5 of my pupils have acheived this 1 in several thousand result. So many congratulations to: NN of Lewisham (took test in own car), PG of Tadworth (took test in Hither Green), JD of Blackheath, LS of Greenwich and LK of Woolwich.
Special mention must also be made of JD of Lee who recently took an extended (70 minute) test and passed with only 1 driving fault!
Pass Rate:
Most instructors agree that the test is becoming more and more of a lottery! My pass rate is way above the national average of 44% and over the last 9 years is around 65%. Be wary of instructors who claim figures in excess of 75% as it is probable that they will be unwilling to “select” you for test until you are odds on to pass!! My policy is that I will put you forward for test as soon as we both feel you have a reasonable chance of success – no more, no less.
